Haleigh Gorman Is Noticeably Absent From Season 9 of 'Below Deck Med' — Where Is She?
Despite a successful stint on Season 8 of 'Below Deck Mediterranean,' deckhard Haleigh Gorman does not return for the show's ninth season.

Each season of the Below Deck spinoff series, Below Deck Mediterranean, usually brings aboard a boatload of fresh new faces to the superyacht crew. Season 8 introduced Haleigh Gorman, a deckhand who stole the show with her humor and dedication to her job.
Fans were eager for her return in Season 9, but she's missing in action. So, if Haleigh is not on Below Deck Med, where is she? Here's what we know.
Wait, where is Haleigh on 'Below Deck Med'?
Despite a successful stint in Season 8, Haleigh is noticeably absent from Season 9 of the hit Bravo reality show. Since wrapping up filming on Below Deck Med, Haleigh has filled her days with travel adventures while balancing roles as both a yoga instructor and chief of marine operations.
In late November 2022, Haleigh took to Instagram and opened up about her journey to becoming a yoga teacher, revealing that it entailed a whopping 200 hours of training!
"This experience changed my life and grounded me. I dove deeper than I ever did into myself. I learned so much about my mind, body, and soul," she wrote in the caption. "I have never been so present and my eyes so wide open to the world in front of me. I am excited to continue to walk the journey of practicing and learning the yogi way."
Haleigh has also been keeping busy with her boyfriend, Jason Watts. The happy couple frequently jets off on exciting vacations together, visiting Hawaii and spending time in Jason's homeland — Australia.
Haleigh briefly left 'Below Deck Med' due to an illness.
During Season 8, numerous crew members, including Haleigh, grapple with sickness. By Episode 14, Haleigh's condition prompts her to leave Mustique to seek medical attention for the strange illness she's been dealing with for quite some time.
The episode then closes with Haleigh sending an alarming text to her boss, Captain Sandy Yawn: "It's been a rough couple of days," Haleigh's message to Captain Sandy reads. "Can I call you?" Yeah, that doesn't sound too good!
Luckily, everything works out in the end because Haleigh returns to the ship in Episode 15 and informs Captain Sandy that she's ready to resume her deckhand responsibilities just in time for the season's final charter.
