As the youngest leading man on Farmer Wants a Wife, Florida farmer Nathan wears his heart on his sleeve for much of the season. But he gets so close to his final two, Allye and Taylor, that choosing either of them seems like a solid option for him. So when he drops the "L-word", well sort of, when he chooses which of them he wants to be with long-term, it's not too out of pocket.
So, who does Nathan pick on Farmer Wants a Wife? Earlier in the season, Mackenzie and Nathan had a great connection. After she went home for the second time to be with family amid her father's declining health, she and Nathan came to terms with the fact that it just wasn't meant to be for them. However, it was meant to be for Nathan and someone else.
Who does Nathan pick on 'Farmer Wants a Wife'?
When Nathan meets with Allye and Taylor separately in the Farmer Wants a Wife finale, he opens up about his feelings in a big way. He tells Allye that she made a great impression on his family. But Taylor is someone Nathan was immediately drawn to from the start of the season upon meeting her. Clearly, there are positive things about the relationships he had with both women.
Nathan also tells Allye that his main concerns with her stem from only seeing her come out of her shell and be herself with him "for little bits of time." When it comes to Taylor, Nathan says, she is everything he has been looking for "for practically [his] whole life." He tells her, "I'm falling in love with you and would love for you to be able to be in the next chapter of my life." And just like that, Nathan chooses Taylor.
Are Nathan and Taylor still together after 'Farmer Wants a Wife'?
Nathan and Taylor are one of two couples still together after Farmer Wants a Wife. They share details during the reunion special about Taylor's plans to potentially move to Florida to be with Nathan full-time. And they both appear to be full in love and ready for whatever next steps come their way.
"I always prayed for a godly man that was gonna be my best friend," Taylor says during the reunion. Apparently, that man is Nathan. There aren't any more serious proposals to speak of just yet, but their relationship proves that the process on the show does work for some.
