Fans of 'FTWD' Are Still Shipping Al and Isabelle

Season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead kicked off with an action-packed episode on Oct. 11, 2020, and it doesn't seem like the creators had any intention of slowing down anytime soon.
"The End Is the Beginning" captured Morgan's desperate attempts to fend off the very real prospect of dying a miserable death. "Welcome to the Club" chronicled Virginia's latest struggles. "Alaska" saw the sudden reemergence of the Beer Lady, aka Isabelle, aka Al's love interest. So, who exactly is she?
So, who is the Beer Lady on 'Fear the Walking Dead?'
"Alaska" chronicled Al's (Maggie Grace) and Dwight's (Austin Amelio) battle for survival — which, at this time, involved climbing atop a decrepit high rise to secure some direly-needed munitions. They did, of course, had to face a few not-so-ignorable obstacles, such as a positively chilling graffiti, dozens of rats, and the impending threat of catching the bubonic plague.
Although Al's love interest, the Beer Lady (Sydney Lemmon), only featured in a few scenes, she had a significant impact on the viewers just the same.
The plot of the episode was set up to create the illusion that Al might get the opportunity to finally spend some time with her chosen other and perhaps escape via her helicopter.
However, as the final scenes of the episode revealed, the idyllic concept didn't exactly come to fruition — as Isabelle only popped by to hand over the aforementioned munitions before flying away with rapid speed.
The Beer Lady first appeared on Season 5 of 'Fear the Walking Dead.'
Isabelle made her first appearance on the show in a Season 5 episode titled "Here to Help," where she kidnapped Al.
"The End of Everything" captured the ad-hoc trip they had no choice but to embark on together. In a crucial scene of the episode, Isabelle bravely tackled a group of walkers by herself to protect Al.
During the journey, they got the chance to talk about various topics, including their lives before the end of everything. At one point, Isabelle even confided in Al, telling her that she had no choice but to kill her partner, Beckett (James Armstrong), because his fear of the walkers have started to hinder them from fulfilling their tasks.
At one point during the trip, Isabelle asked Al to destroy a tape so as to protect the project she has been working on, which, shockingly enough, she agreed to do. Later on, Isabelle grabbed a beer from her bag, thereby earning the nickname of the Beer Lady. The next morning, Isabelle finally revealed her name, telling Al that she was originally from Indiana.
They shared a kiss before parting ways.
Fear the Walking Dead fans can't get enough of Al and Isabelle's love story.
"No bc FTWD made me think I would get Al and Isabelle back I'm tired," tweeted a person. "The last time Althea felt alive was with Isabelle bye," wrote another fan.
