Who Is Left on 'Dancing With the Stars'? — Plus, Winner Predictions
Updated Nov. 19 2019, 1:47 p.m. ET
It seems as though Season 28 of Dancing With the Stars has had more than its share of low moments. James Van Der Beek announced his wife's miscarriage, Lauren Alaina broke up with her boyfriend, and Lindsey Arnold was forced to leave early following the death of her mother-in-law — but at least Sean Spicer was finally eliminated from the dancing competition.
With so much happening off the dance floor, it is hard to keep track of who is still competing for the mirror ball trophy.
So, who's left on Dancing with the Stars?
Who is in the semi-finals? Who left already? Here's everything you need to know.
1. Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber
Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber stole "Disney Night" with a Beauty and the Beast choreography that earned them the highest score in the whole of Season 28. Will they make it to the finale? It's looking good.
2. Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko
Lauren Alaina started the first week of DWTS with an eloquent cha-cha routine that earned her a top score. Unfortunately, it all went downhill shortly afterward. The 'Wildflower' and 'Road Less Traveled' singer had to learn that her cousin went into a coma as she was about to set foot on stage in Week 4. Will she be able to get back in the groove? We believe in her.
3. Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten
A long-standing favorite among the judges and the audiences alike, you'll certainly see more of the former Bachelorette and her partner Alan Bersten in the upcoming episodes.
4. Kel Mitchel and Witney Carson
Kel Mitchel and Witney Carson were almost eliminated on Week 3. However, they brought it all back beautifully with an eloquent cha-cha-cha performance during Week 4. Will they make it to the finale? We hope so!
5. ELIMINATED: Mary Wilson and Brandon Armstrong
The first duo to be eliminated from DWTS in this season was The Supremes singer Mary Wilson and pro Brandon Armstrong, who had hardly any time to show off their chops.
Eliminated: Week 2
6. WITHDRAWN: Ray Lewis and Cheryl Burke
The duo to leave DWTS voluntarily, former NFL star Ray Lewis and Cheryl Burke, announced their withdrawal from the competition after Ray suffered an injury during a training session.
Injured: Week 3
7. ELIMINATED: Lamar Odom and Peta Murgatroyd
The second couple to be eliminated, Lamar Odom and Peta Murgatroyd were sent home during Week 4, after a just-so Viennese Waltz routine. Since then, Peta spoke out in defense of her partner and newly found friend, stating that Lamar's nerves got in the way and failed to perform the carefully rehearsed routine on the big night of the show.
Eliminated: Week 4
8. ELIMINATED: Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy
Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy demonstrated unparalleled expertise in rumba, tango, and foxtrot, but it was their cha-cha-cha routine that still has us in unbridled awe. Can we take some time out to discuss just how fiercely powerful they looked during Week 4 performance?
Eliminated: Week 6
9. ELIMINATED: Karamo and Jenna Johnson
Despite kicking off "Movie Night" with a big, unwavering flu, the stars put all their might into a decent jive routine. Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson weren't among the strongest contenders of Season 28, but their determination, humor and exceptional costume choices won us over each time.
Eliminated: Week 7
10. ELIMINATED: Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov
The Office alum Kate Flannery had shown us a completely new and unexpected side of her personality on the dance floor. Watching her fiery red locks floating around turned out to be a real treat to look forward to every week.
Eliminated: Week 8
11. ELIMINATED: Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold
The former White House Press Secretary is no longer considered to be a bad dancer—not since the surprisingly high score achieved on "Disney Night." Sean Spicer was seemingly getting the hang of it... until his elimination.
Eliminated: Week 9
12. James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater (ELIMINATED)
James Van Der Beek announced his wife's miscarriage shortly before his eliminations. However, the Dawson's Creek alum showed off some impressive dance moves during his time on the show, proving he is a true renaissance man.
Eliminated: Week 10
