Another day, another Kardashian-Jenner relationship update to report. This time, the news is about Kendall Jenner and her boyfriend of less than a year, rapper Bad Bunny.
Kendall and Bad Bunny started dating early in 2023, but according to reports, they never intended for their relationship to be super serious. The couple has reportedly split in December 2023. Why? Details are ahead.
So, why did Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner break up?
Kendall and Bad Bunny first started dating in February or March 2023 — but as of December 2023, the couple is reportedly no more.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the famously secret duo is moving into 2024 single.
So, why did the reality star and rapper decide to go their separate ways before marking their first anniversary? The outlet reports that the romance simply ran its course.
An unidentified source said, "Kendall and Bad Bunny have been doing their own things lately and things slowly started to fizzle out between them."
The source said that their relationship was just for fun.
"They both knew going into this that it likely wouldn't be a forever type of relationship and that was mutually understood from the get-go," the source told ET. "They have crazy busy schedules and know they're still young and have a lot more to experience individually before settling down."
In keeping with the Kardashian-Jenner clan's constant need to get good press, the source also noted, there "isn’t any negativity between them and they still want the best for one another."
Kendall Jenner may have hinted about the Bad Bunny break up on social media.
Fans who follow Kendall online might have picked up on a possible clue that things in her world had been shaken up when she posted to Instagram on Dec. 12, 2023.
"What’s meant for me, will simply find me," the star wrote along with a photo of a pretty view.
"Sounds like a break-up post," one fan commented, while someone else wryly noted, "Looks like the PR stunt has ran its course."
Meanwhile, Kendall hadn't said much about her relationship with Bad Bunny — and he also kept their relationship private.
Yes, the couple did step out for many public dates, including at a May basketball game during which they sat courtside.
But everything fans know about their romance was shared via "sources."
Kendall chose not to splash Bad Bunny all over her Instagram to her 29 million followers.
To be fair, of all the Kardashian-Jenners, Kendall does seem to be the most private in general. That is, unless you count Rob Kardashian, who doesn't film with the family for their Hulu show The Kardashians.
As for whether Kendall will be single for long, that would be anyone's guess. She certainly seems to be enjoying her life, but that said, the 818 Tequila founder seems to be serial monogamist, having dated Devin Booker for two years prior to her fling with Bad Bunny.
