Why Did Kris Jenner Call an Ambulance? Kim's Security Team Took Things Too Far
Updated Sept. 20 2019, 3:44 p.m. ET
While almost everything that happens on Keeping Up With The Kardashians is undeniably enthralling, the Sept. 22 episode looks like it's going to be seriously dramatic. The sneak peek shows mom and momager, Kris Jenner, being driven away in an ambulance, with Kim in a total panic.
So, like any Kardashian fan, you're probably wondering why Kris Jenner called an ambulance, and you'll want to brace yourself, because it's actually a pretty crazy story.
In the sneak peek for the episode, there's a moment in which Kris is surrounded by EMTs. She's lying on a stretcher wearing a neck brace, and you can hear her moaning about her neck being in pain.
Based on the clip, it seems as though she's tremendously uncomfortable, so hopefully Kris has since made a swift recovery. Yikes.
So why did Kris Jenner call an ambulance?
Kris didn't sustain any ordinary fall. According to Huffington Post, she was actually tackled by Kim's security team. She was reportedly trying to use Kim's back door, despite Khloe's instructions, and clearly paid the price for doing so.
This mistake resulted in Kim's entire security team tackling Kris to the ground, and — well — as you could probably imagine, the 63-year-old wasn't exactly prepared for that. Check out the clip, below.
"Your whole security just f-----g tackled Mom. We just called 911. This is so crazy... The ambulance is on their way now." Khloe frantically explained to Kim over the phone in the promo, while Kim is clearly in a car on her way to something.
Kim then asks Khloe about what had happened, and says that she is on her way home.
Why was Kim's security team so aggressive?
You may recall when Kim was robbed at gunpoint while on a trip to Paris, back in 2016. After that understandably traumatic event, the Kardashian clan hired 24/7 security, according to People. And as you can tell, they're taking things more seriously than ever.
“Security and privacy issues have changed not only for her, but for the whole family. They have security guards most of the time when they go out," a close source told People. Wow.
It seemed like Kris is doing much better now.
This current season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians was filmed over the summer of 2019, per Refinery29, and looking at Kris's IG feed, it seems like she's been doing well. She was probably just in shock, more than anything else.
Who would have guessed that Kris would have been attacked by Kim's own security team? It's probably safe to say she probably won't use that back door again... hopefully.
Make sure to catch all of the drama in the upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. As per usual, it looks like this next episode is going to be an eventful one.
