Is Chris Pratt Going to Be in 'Jurassic World 3' or Is He Too Busy Training MMA?

Jurassic Park fans went absolutely nuts when they recently learned that the cast from the original film will all return for Jurassic World 3. You read that right: Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and most importantly, JEFF GOLDBLUM, will be in the movie. Not much is known about the plot of the film, but the biggest question fans have is:
Will Chris Pratt be in Jurassic World 3?
Keep reading to find out and for all the details on the upcoming film.
In case you haven't seen Fallen Kingdom, the second entry in the Jurassic World franchise, then I'll recap it for you in all of its cheesy glory. Basically, Owen Grady (Pratt) re-teams up with Claire after the two had a short-lived romance.
Claire now works as a dinosaur rights advocate and when the two of them learn from a successor to John Hammond that a volcano threatens the livelihood of all the creatures on the island where the Jurassic World theme park was housed before the Indominus Rex ran amok, they spring into action to save them.
It turns out that the successor doesn't care about saving the dinosaurs at all, just the prices they can fetch on the black market. And he's currently developing a scaled-down version of the Indominus Rex that's more Raptor than gigantic monster, and he wants to weaponize these monsters and offer them to some really, really bad people who want to build unstoppable armies of attack creatures. The plot's a little off-the-wall, but it gets even crazier than that, if you can believe it.
Humans are able to "train" the Indoraptor to attack anything a red light touches. Don't ask how, something to do with gene reprogramming or something. The good guys then enlist the help of Blue, Owen's special velociraptor pal to take the Indoraptor down.
It also turns out that Hammond's got a grand-daughter with a weird British accent that houses dinosaur DNA in her body, for some reason? They're never really clear on what her blood holds, but they're seriously intimating that this girl is part dinosaur somehow.
Anyway, Blue can smell gas and knows that this means things are going to explode, and plots a daring escape from Hammond's mansion and manages to best the Indo Raptor in combat, with the help of Owen, Claire, Will Smith's son, and a hipster veterinarian who kinda looks like Halsey.
The dino-human-granddaughter lets the dinosaurs go at the end of the film because she couldn't bear to watch them all die. And now they're roaming in the wild, something Dr. Malcolm (Goldblum) inadvertently speaks to in his ominous final monologue in the film.

This marks the third Jurassic movie for Sam Neill — he was the lead in the first and third films — the third featuring a gigantic Spinosaurus and William H. Macy as a bathroom fixture salesman who pretends to be a billionaire. The movie was weird.
What's even better is that the three will also star alongside Jurassic World mainstays Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. So rest easy, Owen and Claire will be in the movie.
Let's hope hyper-intelligent, or even "talking" dinosaurs are left out of the sixth Jurassic film, and also that the characters of Alan, Ellie, and Malcolm will actually get to interact with the prehistoric lizards once again.
It makes sense that they'd be able to, now that they're no longer restricted to a theme park, but is this the right move for the Jurassic World franchise, however? Jurassic Park and World were arguably the best in the franchise, and they both share the "park" theme in common.
The movie's going to be directed by Colin Trevorrow, who recently debuted the JP themed short film Battle at Big Rock that shows what life is like after dinosaurs are now out in the open.
It was during a Q&A after the premiere of this film when a fan asked whether or not the original cast of the film would be in the next Jurassic World, and Colin simply answered, "Yes" and invited Laura Dern to the stage.
Now that's a heck of a way to break the news. Neill, Dern, and Goldblum have had some awesome careers both in and out of the Jurassic films. Dern played a sizable role in The Last Jedi, Jeff Goldblum was one of the best parts of Thor: Ragnarok, which is high praise for the best Marvel movie ever, and Sam Neill delivered amazing performances in Peaky Blinders, one of Netflix's best shows.
So are you more excited for Jurassic World 3 now that Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will be working together with the original cast of the first film?
