Following the emotional rollercoaster that was The Bachelorette Season 19, fans could not wait for Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia to pass the baton to the next Bachelor. And it looks like ABC aimed for a safer (less dramatic) journey for Season 27 of The Bachelor.
Zach Shallcross was named the next Bachelor and fans are curious (again) about what he does for a living. Here’s what fans should know about the popular contestant –– including how to follow him on Instagram.
Zach Shallcross‘s job: What does he do for a living?
Zach might be a reality star and budding social media influencer now, before he signed up for The Bachelorette he was a businessman.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Zach is the Senior Cloud Technology Account Executive for Oracle. He’s been with Oracle for the last three and a half years. He previously worked as a lower-level Cloud Technology Account Executive and as a Cloud Technology Consultant.
The 26-year-old moved up in his field after earning his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cal State San Luis Obispo. While he was a student there, he studied marketing and played Division I football for five years.
What is Zach Shallcross's net worth?
Zach's current net worth is estimated to be between $300,000 and $800,000 according to a variety of online sources. Perhaps Bachelor fans will get a closer look at where he stands financially during Season 27 of the show.
What is Zach Shallcross's Instagram?
If you want to follow Zach on Instagram, you can find him at @ZachShall. He currently has 70K followers, but we expect that number to go up.
His Instagram is dedicated to his time on the show, but before that, his posts included the reality star enjoying music festivals, kayaking in lakes, taking trips to places like Thailand, and so much more.
He also has several photos commemorating his college football days. A lot of Zach’s pictures include his good friends and family members. His first post dates all the way back to 2012, which means he’s been active on Instagram for quite some time.
Zach Shallcross is ready to be 'The Bachelor.'
"There are no words. I'm just taking this in ... this is pretty incredible," Zach told host Jesse Palmer about being the next Bachelor. "Obviously, everyone saw the heartbreak in Mexico ... but it added fuel to the fire. That breakup did not deter me."
He also had some advice for his future contestants, adding, "Come into this ready for love. I think it's really important to be vulnerable, be yourself ... be true, be open to finding love, it can really happen."
Watch Zach's season of The Bachelor on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
