365 Dni (also known as 365 Days) is the Polish erotic movie that tells the story of Laura Biel, who is imprisoned by Italian mafia leader Massimo Torricelli, and given a year to fall in love with her obsessive kidnapper.
The film follows Laura (played by Anna-Maria Sieklucka) as she (spoiler alert!) falls in love with Massimo (Michele Morrone) and moves permanently to Sicily to prepare for her wedding. However, the story ends with Laura never emerging from the tunnel she was driving through. So, did Laura die?
365 Days is based on a book series by Blanka Lipińska.
If you can't wait for the sequel, 365 Dni is actually a book trilogy written by Polish author Blanka Lipińska. However, the books have yet to be translated into English. The first book was published in Poland in 2018. The second book, titled This Day, follows Massimo as he hunts down the rival mafia family who kidnapped Laura in the tunnel.
The final book, Another 365 Days, was published in 2019.
The love scenes in 365 Dni are very explicit — to the point that many viewers are convinced that Laura and Massimo are really "performing" for the cameras. However, Michele denied the rumors, saying, "It seems real because we’re very good actors, maybe. We know how to fake. No, it wasn’t real. It wasn’t real.”
365 Days book spoilers:
