British singer and songwriter Adele had her big break following the release of her debut album "19" in 2008. The album featured her hit single "Chasing Pavements" and "Make You Feel My Love," and won her the Grammy for Best New Artist.
In 2011, Adele released her second album, "21," which became the best-selling album of the 21st century. She also became the first female artist with three simultaneous Top 10 singles with "Rolling in the Deep," "Someone Like You," and "Set Fire to the Rain."
Adele went on to release two more albums — "25" and "30" — and has won 15 Grammy Awards. In 2022, Adele was set to kick off her Las Vegas residency but was forced to postpone the show due to coronavirus and other issues.
Adele began dating charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki in 2011, and the couple welcomed son Angelo James in 2012. The couple went on to divorce in 2019.
As of 2022, Adele has sold over 120 million records worldwide.
