The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
The Lords of the Rings: The Rings of Power is an Amazon Prime Video original series set thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The narrative follows author J.R.R. Tolkien's history of Middle Earth and traces the entire Second Age. Though at first a time of relative peace, the Second Age leads to the forging of the Rings of Power and the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron. The era also includes the fall of the kingdom of Númenor and the last alliance between Elves and Men.
